Gutters are easy to overlook until they fail, and then they take your foundation, siding, and landscaping down with them. Properly sized, well-pitched gutters move roof water away from the house, which is exactly what a Northeast Ohio home needs through heavy spring rain and winter melt. 4K Roofing installs seamless aluminum gutters cut to fit your home on site.
What we install
- Seamless aluminum gutters formed on site with no joints along the runs, so there are far fewer places to leak.
- K-style and half-round profiles to match your home's look.
- Gutter guards to keep leaves and debris out and cut down on cleaning.
- Downspouts, extensions, and splash blocks sized to actually carry the water away from the foundation.
Why seamless matters
Sectional gutters leak at every seam over time. Seamless runs are cut to the exact length of each side of your home, which means the only joints are at corners and downspouts. Fewer seams means fewer leaks and a longer service life.
Bundle with your roof
The best time to replace gutters is during a roof replacement, when the crew, ladders, and setup are already on site, so you save on labor. We also install gutters as standalone projects. Combining with new soffit and fascia gives the whole roofline a clean, watertight finish.

Gutters that overflow, sag, or pull off the fascia are not just ugly. They dump water straight down the wall, into the foundation, and along the basement. Gutters that are sized right and hung right move that water away from the house, which protects the foundation, the siding, and everything you planted around it. 4K Roofing runs seamless aluminum gutters cut on-site to fit your roofline exactly, across Medina, Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Summit Counties.
Signs Your Gutters Need to Be Replaced
- Water spills over in an ordinary rain. That usually means the gutters are undersized, clogged, pitched wrong, or some combination of all three.
- Gutters pulling away from the fascia. The hangers have let go, or the fascia behind them is rotting. Re-hanging old gutters on bad fascia buys you a season at most.
- Rust or pinholes. Sectional gutters rust out at the seams over time. Once you can see holes, the run is finished.
- Water in the basement along the wall. When water shows up at the foundation, overflowing or misdirected gutters are very often part of the story.
- Stained or peeling siding under the gutter line. Streaks running down the siding are overflow leaving a mark.
- Sagging runs. Gutters carrying standing water and debris weigh far more than they were built to. A sag means the hangers are spaced too wide or the run is overloaded.
Seamless Gutters: What Makes the Difference
Sectional gutters, the 10-foot pieces sold at the home center, have a joint every 10 feet. Every joint is a future leak. Given enough Ohio freeze and thaw, they all eventually weep.
Seamless gutters come off a continuous coil of aluminum, run through a forming machine mounted on our truck right at your house. We cut each run to the exact length of your roofline, so the only joints are at the corners and the downspout outlets. They are stronger, they look cleaner, and they skip the seam leaks that sectional gutters are guaranteed to develop.
We hang K-style and half-round profiles in 5-inch and 6-inch sizes. The 6-inch gutter moves a lot more water and is the right call for long runs, steep pitches, or big roof planes feeding one downspout. We measure the roof during the estimate and tell you which size your house actually needs and why.
Why 4K Roofing for Gutters
4K Roofing has been in business 10 years with an owner and crew who carry 25+ years of exterior installation experience. When gutters go on during a roof replacement, we sequence them with the fascia and the drip edge, which is the order that keeps water on the right side of the metal. Gutters slapped on after the fact often fight the drip edge and never sit quite right.
We install gutter guards when you want them, and we handle downspout extensions and grading so the water actually ends up away from the house. If a storm tore your gutters off, we handle the insurance claim the same way we do for roof damage. Pairing new gutters with a roof replacement is the cleanest way to get the whole edge of the roof done at once.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do gutter guards actually keep leaves out?
A good guard keeps the bulk of leaves and roof debris out and cuts your cleaning way down, but no guard is truly maintenance-free. Fine grit, seed pods, and shingle granules can still work through over time, and the better systems are the ones designed so water sheets over the guard without overshooting in a hard rain. We will tell you which guard makes sense for the trees actually hanging over your roof, not just sell you the priciest one.
Can you match the gutters to my roof or trim color?
Yes. Aluminum coil comes in a long list of factory colors, so we can match the gutters and downspouts to your fascia, trim, or roof rather than defaulting to white. We bring color samples to the estimate so you can hold them up against the house before anything gets ordered.
Why do my gutters only overflow in a heavy downpour?
That is almost always a capacity or drainage problem rather than a clog. In a light rain a marginal gutter keeps up, but in a hard, fast downpour the volume coming off the roof outruns what an undersized gutter or too few downspouts can carry. The fix is usually larger 6-inch gutters, more downspouts, or both. We size the system to your worst-case roof area, not the average rain.
Are seamless gutters worth it?
Yes. Seamless gutters are formed on site to fit your home, so the only joints are at corners and downspouts. That means far fewer leak points and a longer service life than sectional gutters.
Do I need gutter guards?
If you have trees near the house, guards are worth it. They keep leaves and debris out, reduce clogs, and cut way down on how often gutters need cleaning. We can add them to a new or existing system.
Should I replace gutters with my roof?
It is the most cost-effective time to do it. The crew and equipment are already on site, so you save on labor, and the whole roofline gets finished at once. We also do standalone gutter installs.
